Junior Traditional Karate Class

Gear towards ages 4-12 years old

Class Time is 45 minutes

Our Classes are designed for both boys and girls to achieve benefits such as confidence, focus, concentration and so much more.

Some parents may think that Karate promote violence, but that's a myth, according to experts. We teach our students to have self-control over their mind and body.  In many cases they learn how to deal with confrontation in a non-physical way.

Traditional Karate actually help teach self-discipline and socialization skills. In fact, many parents whose children have attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) report great success with these programs because self-control and concentration are exactly the skills they need.

A typical 45min class begins and ends with a bow to the Sensei (Teacher) to teach the student that Traditional Karate begins with
respect and ends with respect.

Class begin after warmup. Each requires concentration and strict attention.

Progress is often marked by the belt system, which takes the Karateka (Karate Practitioner/Student) from a white belt through a variety of colors until black.

Testing for each new level, is generally every three-four months, this is a great way to teach our students how to set and achieve goals.

Experts says it's the respect kids learn, whether from bowing or standing still and waiting for the next queue.

Important benefit:

The life skills our students learned in the Dojo are often carried over to school and home life, helping to improve behavior and better grades.

*Time dedicated to certain sections of the training can vary from class size to class progression*
